Slides from the Pre-Solicitation
Conference held at Selfridge Air National Guard Base on Friday, 5 December
2008.
Contractor's are advised the
slides represent information that is contained in the draft RFP which is
currently undergoing changes.
Contractor's are to submit
their proposals to the terms and conditions in the formal RFP scheduled for
release 8 December 2008.
Changes to Acquisition Strategy (24 November 2008) -
- Offerors are advised that a Draft RFP will be issued o/ 25 November
2008. Attached is a
Draft Executive Summary explaining our approach.
The conference scheduled for 5 December 2008 will now be a
Pre-Solicitation Conference instead of a Pre-Proposal Conference.
All other details concerning location, starting times, access to
Selfridge, access to classified information, etc. remain unchanged.
The final RFP is expected to issued on 8 December 2008.
It is anticipated that proposals will be due on 12 January 2009.

and provide POC, POC phone number, your unclassified fax number and
unclassified mailing address. The information sent will be processed,
stored, handled, transmitted in accordance with Attachments A and B of
the DD Form 254 (Contract Security Classification Specification).
Classified
Drawing DTA 184044, referenced in the unclassified specification
for Transparent Armor, ATPD 2352P, is NOT needed in order to be able to
respond to the solicitation. The information in the unclassified,
approved
for public release, ATPD 2352 is needed, but where the drawing (actually
a
table of information) is referred to offerors should refer to the
classified
annex for the RFP which was provided separately based on the official
release
procedures already identified. All the threat and projectile information
that
is needed for the M-ATV solicitation is contained in the classified
annex for
the solicitation.
