the home page for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV). The JLTV is a
multi-service initiative for a family of future light tactical vehicles.
JLTV has been approved at Milestone A and is currently in the Technology
Development Phase. Updated information will be added to this web site as
necessary. Selected information from previous JLTV
postings have been archived in links at the bottom of this page for the
purpose of providing background information. Interested parties are
responsible to keep themselves informed, so it is important to visit the
home page periodically
to
ensure that you have the most current information. If there are any
inconsistencies between this website and the actual solicitation, the

On 7 November 2008 and 12 November 2008 protests were filed with the Government Accountability Office (GAO) against the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) Family of Vehicles (FoV) Technology Development (TD) contract awards. The Army is in receipt of the protests and will respond in accordance with GAO timelines.

final Potential Subcontractor's List is posted. We will not
continue to update this list. Please
do not send in any requests to be added to the list as they will not be
considered. The list will be left on the website for a short period of
time for reference. Small

On 29 October 2008 three awards were made for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) Technology Development Phase for a total of $166 million Government cost. BAE Systems Land & Armaments, Ground Systems Division, Santa Clara, CA was awarded a $73,923,833 cost share contract (Government Share: $58,547,676; Contractor Share: $15,376,157) [Contract W56HZV-09-C-0107*]. General Tactical Vehicles, Sterling Heights, MI, a joint venture between General Dynamics Land Systems and AM General, was awarded a $117,000,000 cost share contract (Government Share: $58,500,000; Contractor Share: $58,500,000) [Contract W56HZV-09-C-0108*]. Lockheed Martin Systems Integration, Owego, NY was awarded a $48,857,561 cost plus fixed fee contract [Contract W56HZV-09-C-0109*].
The 27 month contracts were awarded by formal source selection procedures. Selection was based on the criteria contained in the RFP. The contracts are incrementally funded with initial funding at approximately $40 million each for a total of $120 million funded out of the $166 million total cost to the Government. The balance of the funding up to the full dollar amount for each contractor will be provided in FY09 and FY10.
*Contract numbers have been changed to reflect fiscal year of award as follows: from W56HZV-08-C-0426 to W56HZV-09-C-0107; W56HZV-08-C-0430 to W56HZV-09-C-0108; and W56HZV-08-C-0431 to W56HZV-09-C-0109.
Proposals are still being evaluated. Award is planned for October 2008. 17 April 2008
Proposals were received 14 April and are being evaluated by a Source Selection Evaluation Board. Award is estimated for late June. No other information is available at this time.
