Cost and Pricing Data Checklist Last Updated: May 12, 2011

If so instructed by a solicitation, you must complete the [below] "Cost and Pricing Data Checklist" and provide it with your proposal. Even if not required, you may still complete and provide the checklist to demonstrate the completeness of your submitted data (IF the solicitation calls for submission of certified cost and pricing data). Note that completion and submission of this checklist is MANDATORY in all actions for UCA Definitization proposals requiring certified cost data with a ceiling price of $10M or greater, and/or all proposals requiring certified cost data with an anticipated proposal value of $50M or greater.

If you fail to fully complete the checklist, it may result in the return of your proposal and/or you will be allowed five (5) business days from the date of your notification to fully complete and submit the checklist. Minor non-compliances will require immediate correction.

The basis for selecting the columns entitled “no” or “N/A” must be addressed in the explanation column for each item. Submit spreadsheet supporting documents in Microsoft Excel format and in a live, unprotected file that includes all formulas, macros and computations that calculate out to the proposed amounts.

The responsibility for providing adequate supporting data and attachments lies solely with the offeror. Further, the offeror must also bear the burden of proof in establishing reasonableness of proposed costs; therefore, it is in the offeror's best interest to submit a fully supportable and well-prepared cost proposal. The basis and rationale for all proposed costs should be provided as part of the proposal so that Government personnel can place reliance on the information as current, complete, and accurate.
